Mark DiClaudio is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. He is a seasoned professional performer, clinician and educator. He has played through out the United States as a member of the Monumental Brass Quintet, with orchestras on the east coast, and in solo performance. He has given master classes in every level of education from elementary through college throughout the country. He is equally versed in classical, jazz, and big-band. Mark has studied with some of the most famous brass players and teachers in the world, including Wynton Marsalis, Wayne Cameron, Langston Fitzgerald, David Fedderly, Mark Hughes, William Vacciano and Hakan Hardenberger.
As a trumpet teacher, Mark has maintained a full-time private home studio for over 15 years. His students, past and present, will attest to his teaching effectiveness and passion. Every year he has several students in All-State Bands and Orchestras as well as sitting 1st chair in their school orchestras and bands. He has had dozens of students receive full or large scholarships to major universities and private colleges.
Mark and his wife, Holly, are co-founders of DiClaudio Studios where they offer private lessons in trumpet, voice, and beginning piano. With a dedication to bringing music to all ages, DiClaudio Studios offers Recitals, Master Classes, Workshops, Children's Music Classes, and an Adult Lecture Series to members of the community. The DiClaudios currently reside just north of Atlanta where they enjoy spending time with their 2 children.
